North Dakota native and Stripe CTO, Greg Brockman, to keynote annual mobile technology conference

Greg Brockman, Chief Technology Officer of Stripe, will keynote the second annual Midwest Mobile Summit to be held May 5 and 6, 2014, in downtown Fargo, ND. A Thompson, ND, native, Brockman studied mathematics at Harvard and computer science at MIT. He joined Stripe as their second employee in 2011.

Organized by Myriad Mobile, the Midwest Mobile Summit is a two-day conference that connects the public with mobile strategy and mobile technology pioneers across the region. The Summit brings mobile industry leaders, designers and developers together to provide insight for attendees on how to utilize mobile for business. Additional Summit speakers include: Mark Chesley, CTO of Infusionsoft; Kevin Kiley, Director of Enterprise Solutions at Airwatch; Steve Rogalsky, Agilist at Protegra; Rick Berg, President of AdShark; and Matt Pacyga VP of Business Development at Myriad Mobile. More speakers to be announced at a later date.

Launched in 2011, Stripe is headquartered in San Francisco. Their mission is to provide developer-friendly ways to accept payments online and in mobile apps. They process billions of dollars a year for thousands of companies, including Rackspace, Shopify, Reddit, Foursquare, DailyMotion and Lyft. Stripe has received $130 million in funding; investors include Sequoia Capital, Peter Thiel and Elon Musk.
