Google’s annual developer conference, Google I/O, will be live-streamed on May 28, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Myriad Mobile, 503 7th St N, Fargo. Google I/O is a two-day conference held in San Francisco and live-streamed around the world. It includes inspirational talks, hands-on learning, and a chance to hear more about Google’s latest developer products. No one outside of Google knows exactly what breaking news will come from Google I/O, which is part of the intrigue. Myriad Mobile is hosting the only officially sanctioned watch party in North Dakota.

We have a strong developer community in Fargo,” said Jake Joraanstad, Myriad Mobile CEO. “The funnest thing about conferences is connecting with other people, right? Since many of us aren’t able to attend Google I/O in San Francisco, we thought it would be fun to keep the spirit of connecting and geeking out over the latest and greatest announcements from Google, right here in Fargo.

Google I/O runs from May 28 through May 29. Select sessions are available to stream live online. For more information about Google I/O, visit the official event webpage at

Refreshments and snacks will be served. Event swag including t-shirts, stickers, and Google Cardboard kits will be given away to the first 25 attendees. A Moto 360 will be given away as a door prize immediately following the keynote. Must be present to win.
