Growers in the Midwest will be able to track real-time scale tickets and the filling of grain contracts. This is the first phase of a new mobile technology being implemented by elevators in the upper Midwest. Growers in the Red River Valley sugar beet industry have been using the technology for two years, with a 90% adoption rate by growers. They have been receiving scale tickets from truck loads to the co-op on their mobile phones. This piqued the interest of other growers in the region and they explored the technology to expand beyond sugar beets and into corn, wheat, and soybeans. Watch the news story and learn how Arthur Companies is deploying this technology to their growers.
